Protecting young and temporary workers on jobsites

OSHA has a dedicated page on their website outlining safety practices for young workers and/or temporary employees. While these practices are generally in line with most corporate safety programs, the goal is of course to train all workers in the recognition of hazards on jobsites. Since young workers are typically inexperienced in the industry, and temporary workers may not have the opportunity to be trained properly, it is logical that these workers would be at a higher risk of injury. Take the time to put these workers through basic construction safety training, for their protection….and yours.
